MIRUS
A HOOKAH LOUNGE ON UPPER BROADWAY WITH A LONG NIGHT.
Come for a bowl. Stay for the talk. Or simply unwind until the coal is done.
MIRUS is a neighborhood gathering place in Washington Heights — warm, refined, built for company and conversation at your own pace. No stage. No rush. Coal, tea, and a table that holds the night.
The room
Our values
Four things the house is built on. Art of the room, care of the floor, and a night that stays human.

PACENo rush
The night is not a queue.
Sit until the coal is done. Tables are held for a long sit, not a turn.

The name
The word is Latin. It names a thing that stops you for a second, then asks you to sit with it. MIRUS is that pause, held through a night of hookah and tea at 4476 Broadway.
The mark
The mark is a gold M and a laurel branch inside a circle that does not close. Laurel is rest after the climb. The open ring is the night itself.
The night
One lounge on upper Broadway, zip 10040. Banquettes, a hall of gold leaf, and a table that holds the coal. Washington Heights, New York.
The first bowls. Tea while the room is still finding its voice.
Signature blends, low talk, the gold of the mark catching the lamp.
The circle stays open. You go when the night is finished with you.
